Lady Gaga Changed Into a Cloud & More Emmys Party Looks

After working the red carpet at the Emmys in a one-shoulder dress from her friend and longtime stylist Brandon Maxwell, Lady Gaga switched from black to white to party the night away. Her second dress was strapless and a simple column piece, and made fit for Mother Monster with wild cloud-like sleeves that seemingly floated down from the sky and landed on her arms. But the singer wasn’t the only one to trade their statement-making red carpet gowns for more fun and flirty frocks: Sarah Hyland slipped out of her berry Zac Posen number and put on an LBD, Queen Latifah took off her dress and opted for party pants and a green fedora. But most people didn’t bother. Kerry Washington, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, January Jones, and others stuck with their original looks. The after parties, hosted by Fox and HBO, also opened up the guest list, inviting not just nominees and presenters but various celebrities including Katherine McPhee in a black jumpsuit, Jennifer Morrison in a dress over pants, Abigail Breslin in a vintage-inspired flapper dress, and more.
