Laurie Hernandez just gave Simone Biles a secret weapon to use on “DWTS”!
The cast of Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars was announced on Wednesday. And while the stars this time around are pretty solid, we are most excited for one lady in particular. Olympic gold medalist and all-around badass gymnast Simone Biles will grace DWTS with her tiny, ridiculously physically fit self.
Biles was a member of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team that dominated at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, where she also landed herself individual gold medals in the all-around, vault and floor exercise events.
But you already know all of that.
Our favorite gymnast is following in her teammate’s footsteps by joining DWTS. You probably remember that Laurie Hernandez showed off her dance moves on the show last season. Well, lucky for Biles, Hernandez has given her a secret weapon that will hopefully help her win.
While hanging out on set, Biles and Hernandez snapped a photo together holding said secret weapon. And Biles posted it to Instagram.

She wrote, “love this girl to death thanks for passing your lucky shoes onto me for this season of DWTS “
Biles is clearly excited to be on the show (and for her new lucky shoes), and we’re so excited for her!
She’ll be dancing with partner pro dancer Sasha Farber. And she’s already rocking the outfits because of course she is.

We’re obviously in for a fun time this season. DWTS returns for its 24th season (which is SO many seasons) on March 20th on ABC.
