Selena Gomez Is Red Hot in Mexico

If you’re wondering what the definition of “red hot” is, look no further than Selena Gomez. The former Disney star stepped out in a sexy crimson ensemble on Sunday night in Mexico to promote her upcoming film, Hotel Transylvania 2, that’s set to premiere on Sept. 25.
The 22-year-old showed off her toned abs in a two-piece set designed by Katie Ermilio. The skirt — with a thigh-high slit that screamed “Angelina Jolie moment” — was tied together with an oversized bow, adding some girlish innocence to the otherwise risqué ensemble. She completed the look with gold sparkly Christian Louboutin sandals and a simple bangle to match. But instead of trickling blood stains or black lipstick that would’ve been in-line with the animated film’s premise (Gomez plays a vampire’s daughter alongside co-stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg), she instead opted for barely-there makeup and let her fire engine red outfit do the talking.
At a press event only hours earlier, though, her outfit was befitting the movie’s sinister theme. Gomez wore a white zip-up blouse with exaggerated shoulders and a black mini leather skirt with buckle details—both pieces from Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection—and simple black pumps. The actress furthered her gothic guise by sporting straight hair and a middle part (hello Morticia Addams!) as well as steely eye makeup.
