Lottie Moss, Kate's Little Sister, Makes Her Runway Debut
At 41, Kate Moss is no longer the queen of the runway. She might be the face of Burberry, David Yurman and Stuart Weitzman, but you won't find her on the catwalk. Luckily, there’s a mini Moss in the wings, waiting to fill in the 5’7” size hole in our hearts. Well, she's not waiting anymore! Lottie Moss, 17, is Kate’s younger sister, and while she’s been featured in Teen Vogue ( the requisite starting line for nearly every up-and-comer) and posed in a capsule collection for Calvin Klein, the teenager, who is signed to Storm Model Management, just walked right into the big leagues with her turn on the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
Wearing a black velvet mini dress with floral pattern detail and ankle boots, the Brit hit the catwalk at Sonia Rykiel’s Fall/Winter 2015 show. With her loose blonde hair swept to the side in the perfectly messy way that only a professional hairstylist can create and simple, fresh-faced makeup, Lottie looked like the second coming of Kate.
Lottie seems like a welcome addition into the next-gen of models. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and others are kind of like Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, and the rest of the ’90s supers. It’s high time the next-gen had a Moss in the mix. Lottie isn't the only one with famous blood that's bound to join the up-and-coming style set. Here are more of Yahoo Style's predictions for who will soon be inducted into the runway rat pack.
