Meghan Markle Adds More ‘H’ Statements to Her Jewelry Collection

Thanks to her highly publicized relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle finds herself under a new level of scrutiny and public curiosity in which every tiny detail of her appearance is up for discussion, including her jewelry.

The Suits actress was spied flower-shopping in London, wearing a ring that appears to have an “H” on it, which the Daily Mail is calling a “bold declaration of love.” (Because, apparently, a tiny “H” that people can see only if they or a lens get close enough to it is “bold.”)

But the “H” could mean a lot of things. Maybe the Harry Potter book series is one of her faves? Perhaps she wants the world to know how much she loves hot dogs? Maybe she had a really good time on a visit to Houston? Or maybe the H means “Help! There are now more people who want to delve into my personal business than ever before!”

Markle has previously been seen in some H-initial jewelry — namely, a gold necklace with an “H” and an “M,” (or was that just a shout-out to a certain Swedish retailer?). She and Harry reportedly also wear his-and-hers beaded bracelets, spoils from one of his trips to Africa.

Markle isn’t the only celebrity who shows love for her boo with jewelry. Gigi Hadid has been seen in a “Z” necklace — presumably to represent her boyfriend, Zayn Malik. Kim Kardashian wore gold “K” and “W” studs in her ear back in 2012 when she and KW were just a “rumored couple.”

Markle’s H-ring is cute, but as far as we can tell, it’s not telling us anything new about her relationship with Harry. Call us when that ring is a diamond worn on a certain finger!
