This past summer, Melissa McCarthy launched Melissa McCarthy Seven7, to much acclaim. Not just a talented actress with an uproarious brand of comedy, she also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and truly has an eye for design. Her line, for women sizes 4 through 24, is now moving through the seasons, and with that comes a new campaign.

For the holidays, McCarthy serves as a her own spokesmodel and was photographed by Brian Bowen Smith. In one of the images, she wears skinny black jeans, with a tunic blouse featuring sliver embellishments on the shoulders. She festively wore red lace-up high heels as well and accessorized with lights wrapped around her body.

In another shot, McCarthy wears the same cropped pants but changes things up with a multi-colored top. Her hair is curled in loose waves and deeply parted to the side, which can be seen behind a Christmas wreath.

McCarthy’s goal with her collection from the start, which she explained to Yahoo Style, is to build women up and reverse the “systematic tearing down of women” that has been the status quo in the fashion industry. Her new holiday campaign, with both the clothes and entertaining ads, seems to help do just that.
