Move Over Taylor Swift! Madonna’s Coming In Hot
Time to gather your BFFs: It’s officially the year of the brat girl pack. #SquadGoals has taken social media by storm; the cast of HBO’s GIRLS has redefined true friendship; Taylor Swift’s list of lady lovers goes on for years; and now, Madonna’s following in the 25-year-old singer’s footsteps by enlisting music’s fiercest females in her “Bitch I’m Madonna” (obviously) music video.
In a very “Bad Blood”-like roll out—red, black, and white poster board included—Madonna took to Instagram to share that Beyoncé Knowles, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Rita Ora will be starring in the video that’s “coming soon.”
This announcement may or may not be better than when Madge premiered a video on Snapchat for her first single, “Living for Love.” Now, we can lose our minds over the release of “Bitch I’m Madonna” in video form with the epic songstress squad.
Will there be iconic moments rivaling her Jean Paul Gaultier designed cone bras from her ‘90s Blonde Ambition tour? Makeout sessions circa Britney in 2003 and Drake at Coachella? Or a tumble (or six) a la Brit Awards? Whatever it is, we’re ready for the Queen of Pop to live up to her name, yet again. Let the countdown begin!
