Netflix cast the perfect actress to play Sophia Amoruso in the “Girlboss” TV series
Keep the inspiring #GirlPower TV coming, especially if it’s starring Britt Robertson. The 26-year-old actress is best known for her work in Tomorrowland and The Longest Ride and now Entertainment Weekly reports that she’ll be joining the Netflix series Girlboss, based on the book by Sophia Amoruso.
Sophia is the founder of the clothing brand Nasty Gal and she published her career advice book/memoir #GIRLBOSS in May of 2014. The book is so inspiring not just for those of us interested in fashion, but for anyone who wants to reach their full potential and follow their dreams.

Variety announced the series, which will be based on Sophia’s rise from selling vintage clothes on eBay to building the multi-million dollar fashion empire, back in February. The comedy is led by Kay Cannon, the writer behind Pitch Perfect, and Charlize Theron, who will be executive producing along with Beth Kono, Laverne McKinnon and Sophia herself.
This 13-episode series will be coming to our laptops sometime in 2017, and while we wait, we can watch Britt in some of her other upcoming projects, like The Space Between Us, which is all about a young man raised on Mars returning to Earth. You can also catch her right now in Mother’s Day. Sounds like Britt is already a #Girlboss herself!
