Paris Report: Found the Look of My Dreams at Isabel Marant
Thanks to Isabel Marant’s fall/winter 2015 collection, the world just gained an angel—in the form of a skirt and top. Though my lust list started with my very predictable craving for badass boots, single over-sized earrings, Navajo prints, stripes, and black studded pants—look 34 from every cool girl’s favorite designer had me totally enchanted.
Just like that, my runway radar veered from boho babe/biker chick to aspiring fashion angel. The unexpectedly girly white two-piece—seriously, there was tulle and frills and even a nipple—was made pure Marant thanks to the studded, rock ‘n roll ready mid-calf boots. I’d wear the “I’m innocent, but not *that* innocent,” number with a tattered leather jacket or—yes I’m going there—down the aisle! *Gasp* It was just that good.
