The trailer for Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadda’s latest film Section 375 has released. The film, which is said to be based on true events, takes its name from Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to rape. Akshaye plays a lawyer for a film director who is accused of rape and Richa a public prosecutor seeking justice for her client, played by Meera Chopra.

One of our favourite actors, Sridevi would have turned 56 today (13 August). She died due to accidental drowning in February, 2018. On this occasion, Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi took to Instagram to share a heartwarming message. “Happy birthday Mumma, I love you.” Not just Janhvi, Anil Kapoor’s wife Sunita also remembered the late actor. “ “Memories are always special. Sometimes we laugh by remembering the times we cried, and we cry by remembering the days we laughed!!! That’s life. Happy birthday Sri.. Miss you so much.”

3. Hard Kaur Challenges Modi, Shah in Video With Khalistan Supporters
It has not been long since Indian rapper and singer Taran Kaur Dhillon, also known as Hard Kaur, was booked for sedition. Now, she is back in news for a video in which she has openly come out in support of the Khalistan movement and has also posted a video with Khalistan supporters. In the video, they are seen challenging PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. “You’ll not be able to silence Taran Kaur, she’ll raise her voice again. Amit Shah, it is very easy to stand and speak in the Parliament, since the government, police and law, everything is under you. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, this is for you. On 15 August, we’ll hoist our Khalistani flag in 15 nations. Stop us if you can legally.”

4. Shweta Tiwari’s Daughter Opens up on Charges Against Step Father
A day after reports emerged of Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Shweta Tiwari filing a case against husband Abhinav Kohli for domestic violence, daughter Palak Tiwari has come out in support of Shweta.
She took to Instagram to provide a better picture of the entire case and said that she has been a victim of domestic abuse and not her mother. She wrote, “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who’s reached out to express their concern and support.
Secondly, I would like to address and clarify a few things out of my own rectitude:
The media does not have the facts and they never will. I, Palak Tiwari, was on multiple occasions a victim of domestic abuse NOT my mother, except for the day that the complaint was filed he hadn’t hit my mother.”

5. Alia Bhatt Gets Groovy in The Doorbeen’s ‘Prada’ Video
Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is making her foray into the music industry with her first ever music video. And for this special video, she has collaborated with none other than the music duo The Doorbeen, of ‘Lamberghini’ fame.
The video of the song ‘Prada’, which is a collaboration between Alia Bhatt and The Doorbeen, dropped on 13 August. Shot in neon shades of pink and blue, the song features the artists grooving to the tune of the song with occasional lyrics floating on the screen.
