Never one to play it safe in the style department, Gwen Stefani wears tight white pants with a beaded top. She pairs the matching separates with black heels that match her camisole and dark smokey eye makeup. The “Spark the Fire” singer, who has been trying out different out-of-the-box hairstyles as of late, has her platinum locks pulled back in a top knot.

People Magazine hosted their first awards special in Los Angeles on Thursday night. The magazine rolled out the red carpet at the Beverly Hills Hilton to honor the stars it loves to cover on its pages every week. Nick Cannon hosted, both Maroon 5 and Five Seconds of Summer performed, and everyone from Karlie Kloss to Kate Hudson showed up to celebrate the year in pop culture. Awards included everything from Hero of the Year (given to Nora Sandigo, the founder and executive director of American Fraternity Inc.) and Sexiest Star of the Year (Kate Upton) to Triple Threat of the Year (J.Lo) and Role Model of the Year (Kate Hudson).
