Renée Zellweger Looks Normal at Miu Miu
The last time Renée Zellweger stepped in front of a camera, it did not go well. At the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in October, the actress looked so unrecognizable that the Internet exploded with conspiracy theories. Did she have Botox? Fillers? An eyelift? A chin implant? A shift in brow position? Was it her jawline? Who cares, the Bridget Jones star turned heads for another reason at Miu Miu’s Paris Fashion Week show on Wednesday— for looking every bit herself.
Wearing a black lace minidress with a bright cherry red coat, matching baguette, and nude heels, Zellweger was recognizable in the front row because of fashion chops, not whatever plastic surgery procedures she reportedly did or didn’t undergo. In response to the outcry at the time, she told People, ”I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.”
The 45-year-old is obviously a woman of her word as she appeared in France looking fresh—and her age. Rocking a new fringe with a topknot, she kept her face covered up with chic dark sunglasses walking into the venue (as nearly every other street styler does), but showed off her new ‘do as well as well as her highly contentious face sitting next to Lea Seydoux and Odeya Rush.
Making her first public appearance since Renée-gate. let’s hope this Miu Miu emergence marks her sojourn back into the spotlight after a rough patch.
