Sienna Miller looks like a fancy lampshade in this gorgeous Gucci number
As if the red carpet fashion show at the Golden Globes wasn’t exciting enough, things shot to another level Monday night when Sienna Miller donned a lampshade-inspired Gucci dress to the Los Angeles premiere of Ben Affleck’s new film, Live By Night, and positively owned the look.
The sky blue tulle gown featured six layers of skirt and one capelet-style layer around the shoulders, with glittering gold “icicles” decorating each piece. Tying the boho glam look together was a sequin bow patch at the neck, which added an extra dose of personality to the already-eclectic ensemble.
While the frock was a complete departure from Sienna’s Globes outfit — a minimalist white Michael Kors dress with midriff-baring cutouts — it was an absolute fashion triumph.
Letting the offbeat gown shine, Sienna kept her hair and makeup minimal, opting for simple golden waves and a bold red lip. Perfection, if you ask us.
The film, which officially hits theaters Friday, January 13th, is directed by and stars Affleck, who also wrote the screenplay based on Dennis Lehane’s 2012 book by the same name. Affleck plays Joe Coughlin, the son of a prominent Boston police detective, who “heads down a risky path that goes against his upbringing and his own moral code” during Prohibition Era, according the movie’s website.
It’s a sure-to-be-thrilling crime drama that also happens to star our girl Elle Fanning, so suffice to say we’re excited to see it. Plus, if the film keeps inspiring celebs like Sienna Miller to wear dresses this fabulous, we’ll happily keep our eyes glued to every red carpet premiere!
