Sienna Miller Might Be the Only Person Who Can Rock Feathered Cuffs
Last night, Sienna Miller stepped out in an outfit with some interesting details. And the easiest way to describe it is, it reminded us of Cher Horowitz’s feather pens in “Clueless.”
The 34-year-old attended the premiere of her new film “The Lost City of Z” in black pants and a black tunic top with red piping. The top was cinched with a brown, beige, and yellow belt around her waist. That sounds pretty basic, but wait, are those bright blue birds perched near her wrists?
The cuffs of Miller’s sleeves were, in fact, covered in fluffy turquoise feathers, adding a surprising pop of color. The cuffs of her pants were also covered in feathers; however, they were less attention grabbing because the black feathers blended in with the color of her pants.
Miller made up for the lack of color in her black pants with a pair of cherry red peep-toe platform heels, which perfectly matched the piping of her shirt and her lipstick.
Normally, we wouldn’t condone so much fluff, but it works on Miller. It gives her otherwise plain outfit some personality, and also conjures images of Lisa Kudrow’s last dress in “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.” And anything associated with that movie is good.
Bottom line: If Miller wanted to remind women of their favorites ’90s movies, she won the night.
