All the solar eclipse fashion you'll want for the big day
The highly anticipated solar eclipse on Aug. 21 is almost here.
According to NASA, the last time a total solar eclipse occurred in the United States was 1991. This year, 500 million people are expected to be within range to witness at least a partial eclipse.
Those lucky enough to live within the 70-mile-wide path of totality, which stretches from Oregon’s coast to South Carolina’s, will be able to view the eclipse in its entirety. However, those who live outside of it will be able to only see a partial view. To calculate your own viewpoint range, you can insert your city name and state in this tool by the U.S. Naval Observatory.
In light of this exciting celestial moment, Yahoo Style rounded up a few items to get you prepped for the big day.
Ahead, you will find where to get your (free) protective eye glasses — as you should not look directly at the sun during the eclipse — along with a few fun fashion apparel and accessories inspired by the sun, moon, and stars.
