This piece of work from artist Leanie van der Vyver and shoemaker René van den Berg, called Scary Beautiful, sets out to challenge current body ideals by “inflicting an unexpected new beauty standard.”

Minimal clothing means that the eye goes straight to the shoes. It seems like this is dressed down for Gaga.

Miley Cyrus’s clothes usually do all the talking but it’s her knee-high black Christian Louboutin stiletto boots turning heads.

The infamous claw shoes were presented at Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 coolection show in Paris. The 10 in. monsters were so intimidating that some models even refused to wear them down the runway!

Not only do these shoes look risky to walk in but their embellishements make them dangerous to hold.

Christian Louboutin designed these 8 in. heels for the English National Ballet. “I could not help being inspired by English National Ballet… after all…isn’t the classical dancing ballet slipper the ultimate heel? Lady Gaga’s motto must be the "higher the heels the closer to heaven” because these shoes are certainly reaching for the sky. The pearl decoration is more girly than Gaga usually wears but adds femininity to a really edgy piece.

These shoes are just one of many pairs the heiress has in her most likely very large closet.
