While you were putting the finishing touches on your Halloween costume this weekend, Jennifer Lawrence was getting her hands dirty at the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles as part of a hand and footprint ceremony to celebrate the impending release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

Lawrence and her costars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth turned out for the ceremony on Saturday at the TCL Chinese Theatre, with Lawrence rocking a white sleeveless top and printed asymmetric skirt from A.L.C. We’ve gotten quite used to seeing Lawrence in Dior threads on the red carpet as she is an ambassador for the house, but this time she opted for a more contemporary label.

This appears to be Lawrence’s first red carpet appearance since Raf Simons’ departure from Dior was announced. Lawrence has had quite a close relationship with the house, which outfitted her for some of her biggest moments. She accepted her Oscar for Best Actress in 2013 in a voluminous Dior gown, that famously caused her to trip up the stairs as she went to receive her award. She wore Dior again to the Oscars in 2014 (and tripped on the red carpet because it’s hard out here for a girl in heels.) Lawrence is also the face of the house’s beauty range and has starred in some of their campaigns.

It seems as if Simons and Lawrence are also pretty tight. The designer said he got in touch with the actress for advice as he was being filmed for the Dior and I documentary that came out last year. "She said she looks at things very technically, when she looks at a film she’s in, but it was not the case for me at all,“ he told Vogue UK . "It’s all about emotion. It’s not about how it’s cut and all that.”

We’re a little surprised to see J.Law not in Dior, (maybe she was wearing their makeup?) but we’re guessing that it’s only a matter of time before she rocks something from the fashion house while she promotes the new film.
