Comedienne Sarah Silverman takes a dark turn in the film “I Smile Back,” and her fashion has shifted to align with this new direction. Usually more goofy on the red carpet — she’s been known to wear pigtails and pull dresses from her own closet for major industry events — the actress opted for a floor-sweeping gown. The black dress, worn at the TIFF Dinner hosted by Boxed Water, features cutouts all over from the stomach to the thighs covered in a sheer material

Before the Golden Lion was even awarded at the Venice Film Festival, actors were already making their way from Italy across multiple timezones to Ontario. The Toronto International Film Festival kicked off very fashionably and throughout the duration hasn’t stopped. Natalie Portman set the bar high attending the opening festivities in a Dior Couture floral mini dress and the hits kept on coming. The Martian’s star-studded cast on the red carpet including Kate Mara in a red A.L.C. jumpsuit, Matt Damon in head-to-toe black, and Jessica Chastain in a Lanvin LBD were all dressed to the nines. Sandra Bullock turned heads — twice! — in a pink jumpsuit and black David Koma midi. But so far Elizabeth Olsen, stylish sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, has stood out as the sartorial winner wearing trends straight off the runway from big bell sleeves to a dress over pants.
