Tove Lo Wore Her Ladyparts on Her Dress to the ARIA Awards
If you weren’t paying attention in anatomy class, Tove Lo’s latest outfit might help you understand a bit about the female body. The singer hit the Australia Recording Industry Awards in a sheer red dress, through which her skivvies were visible. But no one was looking at that, thanks to the anatomically accurate flourish on the piece: a neatly placed design of a uterus.
According to Tove Lo’s Instagram, the dress was created by Emelie Janrell. She paired the look with colorful socks and chunky boots.

The dress reminds us of the uterus sweater from Rachel Antonoff’s Fall 2015 collection. Lena Dunham rocked the piece at Politics, Sex and Cocktails, presented by the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project in Los Angeles in October last year.
The female form: fashionable, even from the inside.
