′80s New Wave

Japanese designers have always influenced young designers everywhere and Issey Miyake, one of the most innovative designers of our generation, created his pleating method in the late ′80s. This trend was first noticed during Milan fashion week with scenes from vacation printed on shirts from Giamba to Dolce and Gabbana and looking back to all 4 cities, Marc Jacobs had his scene embroidered on by artist Julia Verhoeven and in Paris Aalto to Stella McCartney to Valentino all had their favorite scene on their shirt.
