Update: Yeezy Sneakers on Display at the Adidas Store in New York
If Kanye West knows one thing, it’s that he’s the best at everything. Women’s shoes, music, sneakers—but the business he’s best at might be hype. He always knows how to creatively pique everyone’s interest by remaining as elusive as possible regardless of what his new project actually is. Now, he’s at it again.
West has been teasing his Adidas collection all week. There was the leaked invite, the New York-only app, and an obscure tweet about printing invitations. On Friday, images of the shoes leaked online, thanks to his barber Ibn Jasper.

On Saturday, West wore the sneakers to Roc Nation’s annual pre-Grammy brunch and on Sunday, his step-sister, Kylie Jenner, posted the women’s version of the sneaker on her Instagram account.

On Monday, GQ just announced that the sneakers are on display at the Adidas store in Soho, NY. Go check them out for yourself.

Yeezy’s hugely anticipated Adidas presentation takes place on Thursday February 12; his new website, Yeezy.Supply appears to countdown to the release, but there’s no guarantee with West—he could be counting down to anything!

If you go to the site, you’ll find a live stream video featuring a nondescript warehouse setting where workers are now screen-printing hundreds of t-shirts. This may be the first sign that West is releasing yet another component to his Adidas collection that will extend beyond just shoes. Or perhaps this is a separate project?
The performer tweeted:
Invites have been signed, sealed and delivered for his Adidas event already. Is there more? What is it!? His vague descriptions have us hooked. Check back with Yahoo Style for more hints as they come along!
