Victoria Justice & Madonna Sparkle in the Same Versace Look
Going head-to-head with Madonna is, most likely, something no one wants to do (I mean, have you seen her arms?!). But Victoria Justice, 22, boldly challenged the singer to a “who wore it best” competition when she showed up to the MTV Movie Awards in a Versace spring/summer 2015 ensemble very similar to one the 56-year-old had already worn (in the brand’s ad campaign nonetheless!).
On Sunday, Justice stepped out on the blue carpet in a silver, pink, and black sparkly dress. She shimmered, shined (and all of the ensuing synonyms) in a mini-dress that was clearly from the same collection. It was age-appropriate, but amidst all the girly embellishment, she managed to give off a bit of sex appeal with a peek-a-boo strip of sheer.
As for Madonna, her Versace variation was a black two-piece with a metallic, cross-body, zigzag streak, ideal for campaign images, which were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. She accessorized the look with a matching bracelet and clutch. And while her body’s in tip-top shape—and the outfit definitely showed it—if a girl that only legally started drinking alcohol a year ago chooses the same silhouette, it might be wise for the “Material Girl” to consider dressing more age-appropriate.
The two artistes are 34-years apart, but this proves that age is just a number—right? One thing’s for certain: Justice is following in some pretty noble footsteps!
