Were Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein Ads Retouched?

Justin Bieber has grown up before our very eyes. He shot to superstardom before he even went through puberty: his voice has since dropped, he’s grown a few inches, and his body has bulked up, completing his transformation from boy to man (his physique at least — his maturity level, on the other hand, has, arguably, yet to catch up).

The singer, who was recently tapped, along with model Lara Stone, by Calvin Klein to be the next Marky Mark, shocked fans with the ad campaign images, displaying a much larger frame than paparazzi photos and red carpet images seem to reveal. But while many were impressed by the hours the Baby singer must have spent pumping iron prior to the shoot, others were convinced that the altered appearance was thanks to the help of digital manipulation tools. Turns out, those crying retouching may have been right.

Images that appear to be before photos of the campaign were leaked to BreatheHeavy.com. The unretouched shot shows his biceps have been beefed up, pectorals enhanced, hands enlarged, butt amplified, thighs made meatier, and groin engorged.
But there’s also the chance that the website maniulated the images in the opposite direction as well, making his body appear smaller than it actually is. As many Beliebers, who will defend him until the end, have pointed out, Bieber will often post selfies on social media that show off how toned he is.
