Here’s how it works. New subscribers will either verify their age (18-24) via driver’s license, passport or identity card, or student status with their university name and graduation year. Once approved, users will receive a free six-month trial. Then, the membership auto-renews at $7.49/month — half off the standard $14.99 monthly charge. It can be cancelled at any time.
Beyond the free trial and discounted long-term membership, young adults (both students and those ages 18-24) receive bonus perks. These include up to 10 percent off flights and hotels with free premium customer support, a free three-month Premium subscription to the Calm app and then $8.99/year after that (reg. $69.99), one month of free homework help and live tutors via Course Hero and an extra $5 off the member’s first Amazon Warehouse purchase.
Plus, Prime membership comes with a free subscription to Grubhub+, where members can enjoy unlimited $0 delivery fees and exclusive savings. And through Oct. 9, get 50 percent off any $20+ Grubhub order with code PRIME50.
With October Prime Day going strong, there’s no better time than the present to take advantage of this offer. Students and young adults can sign up for the six-month free trial here, and be sure to check out all the best Prime Big Deal Days discounts here, ending tonight.
