The best MagSafe accessories for your iPhone in 2024, tested and reviewed

The Snap 4 Luxe is the only iPhone grip/stand combo I've found that is, itself, magnetic, while also supporting "pass-through" wireless charging, meaning you don't have to remove it every time you want to use a charging pad or dock. (That may not sound like a big deal, but trust me, it is. I use it in tandem with the ESR wallet listed below.) Meanwhile it's incredibly thin —thinner than some iPhone camera "bumps," in fact — with a sturdy pop-up plastic grip that can also tilt and lock to become a stand. At $40 it's definitely on the pricey side, but I've used mine daily for seven months and it's still in great shape. Worth the investment!

Available in black or brown, the Geo packs four useful functions into a single accessory. It's a three-card wallet, a kickstand, a finger-grip and an AirTag. Well, sort of: There's AirTag-like functionality here in that the Geo is fully compatible with Apple Find My (unlike Apple's own wallet, which has only rudimentary Find My support). Thus, if the wallet happens to go missing, you can easily pinpoint its location. The battery lasts only three months, though, and the charging cable is proprietary, but that doesn't stop me from really liking this product; it's one of my favorite MagSafe accessories.

If you like the idea of a Find My-compatible wallet, here's another option: ExtreLife's card-holder includes a spot for an actual AirTag (not included), meaning if the wallet ever goes missing, you'll have an easier time tracking it down. Meanwhile, stretchy fabric allows you to carry up to seven cards, not just two or three like in some wallets.

Will you like it because they put a ring on it? I think yes, because this stretchy 7-card wallet lets you slip a finger through that ring for a more secure grip. But it also rotates a full 360 degrees and swings out for phone-stand duty. I especially like the wide range of available colors, though for some reason these also have different prices: At press time, you'd pay anywhere from $9.99 to $17.99 depending on the selected color.

Most MagSafe wallets give you a card pocket and that's about it. This one does, but also opens up, billfold-style, to reveal an ID window and other pocket that can be used for cash and/or more cards. (Total card capacity here: an impressive 10.) The wallet blocks RFID signals and promises to protect your cards against demagnetization. It's also a stand, of course, suitable for portrait or landscape orientation. And ExtreLife offers this in your choice of 10 colors. I just wish it had a stretchy band or something similar at the rear for good one-handed gripping.

Most MagSafe wallets are just pockets; the M-Card Zip is a slim, bifold plastic case with room for up to three cards on the left and some cash on the right. The same elastic strap that holds the cash provides a comfy multi-finger phone grip on the outside of the case, and there's a cleverly designed silicone band attached to it that scrunches up to become a phone stand (albeit for landscape viewing only). You also get a little strap that can optionally affix the wallet to your phone case, just in case it comes loose in your purse or something. I'm concerned about the longevity of the plastic clasp that keeps the wallet shut, but overall I really like this design.

Available in over a dozen colors, Moft's origami-inspired, vegan-leather wallet is as slim as they come, measuring just 0.2-inch thick — at least until you add one or two cards, which is all it can accommodate. Even then, this is one of the most pocket-friendly MagSafe wallets you can get. It unfolds to become a surprisingly sturdy stand for both portrait and landscape viewing. And there's plenty of room to slip your fingers inside the fold-out for easier one-handed gripping.

This incredibly convenient charging station includes a MagSafe pad for your iPhone and wireless docks for your Apple Watch and AirPods. It folds into a travel-friendly stack when not in use but can also convert to a stand for hands-free phone viewing. It also has two USB ports for plugging in other devices if needed. 

Unlike a lot of similar "sandwich" charging stations, this one is made of metal, not plastic. And it comes with an AC adapter, something that's usually missing from cheaper counterparts. I also appreciate the zippered carrying case. This is what I pack for trips now; when I arrive, I set it up beside my bed for easy overnight charging of all my Apple devices.

It may have "airplane" in the name, but this ingenious phone mount is designed to clip to just about anything: a desk, a table, the edge of a cupboard door, you name it. I especially like mounting it to the extended handle of my carry-on bag so I can watch movies hands-free while waiting to board my flight. The MagSafe mount arm can extend, bend and rotate to give you the best possible viewing angle. Seriously, this thing is awesome. Get one.

My new favorite power bank makes most others look like slackers. In addition to supplying 10,000-mAh MagSafe charging to your iPhone, this Eazpower pack can magnetically charge your AirPods or Apple Watch as well — a capability I haven't seen in other battery packs. It also has built-in Lightning and USB-C cables for charging other stuff, and just to round things out, there's a folding kickstand. 

The bargain to beat, Mozoter's 10,000-mAh battery pack is less than half the price of some others — and it has a few special tricks up its sleeve. First, it's waterproof and shockproof, with snazzy orange corner bumpers to help it survive falls. Second, it has a 3-setting LED light panel on its backside, useful for basic flashlight purposes or even as a fill light for recording videos. The magnets could be stronger — I could see this getting knocked loose inside a bag — but I'm still pretty amazed by what a good value it is.

With its 10,000-mAh, 20-watt Power Delivery battery, this power bank charges your phone faster than most. But it also has raised magnets to help reduce overheating, a kickstand that allows for portrait and landscape hands-free viewing and a digital readout on the backside that shows how much charge remains. I particularly like the 24-month warranty and the fact that there's frequently a discount or coupon that lowers the price. My only complaint is the length of the battery: On my iPhone 13, it extends slightly past the bottom.

One downside to MagSafe charging is that it tends to be a little slow. That changes with MagSafe's Qi2-certified power bank, which promises twice-as-fast charging thanks to its 15-watt pad. Thankfully, it's no larger or heavier than similar models, though it's definitely on the pricey side. (If you're not in a rush, watch for sales; Anker products tend to get discounted regularly.) You do get a 2-year warranty, however, double that of most power banks.

Is it expensive? Yes. Have I found a better nightstand companion for charging my iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch? No. Anker's latest is not only simple and elegant, it's also powerful, with Qi2 certification for faster phone charging and MFW for faster watch charging (up to nearly 50% in just 30 minutes, according to Anker). Does that matter if you're charging overnight anyway? Not really. But as someone who prefers the latest and greatest of everything, I'll take it.

To look at the Anker MagGo (weirdly named because it's designed to stay, not "go") is to see a desktop charging mount for your phone, but it's way more than that. At the rear you'll find three AC outlets, two USB Type-A ports and two USB-C ports. In other words, this thing is the whole power package, able to supply juice to up to eight (!) items at once. I must admit, I like a desktop mount more than I thought I would; it keeps the screen upright so I don't have to reach for the phone every time a notification comes in. And this new version is Qi2-certified for the fastest available MagSafe charging.

If you're going to use your phone for in-car navigation and whatnot, I strongly advise a mount that'll keep it close to eye level. The Velox Pro can suction to your windshield or dashboard, giving your phone not only a secure MagSafe mount, but also a charger. Worried about heat damage from the sun? Don't be: This thing also has a fan to keep things cool. I don't love the cord that runs from the mount to your car's power port, but there's no way around it; power's gotta come from somewhere!
