Casetify Collaborates With Viral Japanese Collectible Brand Sonny Angel on Blind Box Phone Cases, ‘Farmers Market’ Pop-up
The viral Japanese collectibles that spawned a “Saturday Night Live” skit are now available as tech accessories. Casetify has teamed up with Sonny Angel to release a “farm fresh” collection, including a series of limited-edition blind box phone cases akin to the figurines’ surprise packaging.
Taking inspiration from the toy brand’s bestselling Harvest series — which sees the cherubic dolls in fruit and vegetable-themed headgear — the Sonny Angel collection includes Casetify’s Mirror and Impact models in three new, unique designs: the Harvest Medley Case, the Heavenly Angel Case and the Harvest Heart Series Case, each emblazoned with various figurines.

The blind box ($100), sold separately, contains one Harvest Heart Series Case and one Sonny Angel Harvest Hipper, a stick-on accessory that can be attached to the customer’s phone. The contents of each blind box will be a mystery until opened.
Other accessories included in the collection are the Sonny Angel Phone Charm and Metal Heart Phone Strap, which feature charms depicting the Strawberry figurine, angel wings and hearts. Pricing for the Sonny Angel x Casetfiy collaboration starts at $52.
In celebration of the launch, Casetify will host a Sonny Angel “Farmers Market” pop-up, allowing fans to shop the collection in person. Located in Long Beach, Calif., the daylong event will take place on July 27 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 6420 East Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 140. Customers can receive a special Sonny Angel x Casetify Market Tote when they spend $100 or more.
The Sonny Angel x Casetify will be available to shop at casetify.com starting July 19.
