Corteiz’s Hit Nike Air Max 95 Will Return This Year With a New Colorway

British streetwear brand Corteiz had one of the hottest collaborations of 2023 with its three Nike Air Max 95 colorways releasing throughout the year. A fourth colorway has now been confirmed to be on the way, and demand should be just as high more than a year later.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Tour Yellow” is set to release during the upcoming holiday season. Its color-blocking is the same as the “Pink Beam” edition, with black forming the vast majority of the sneaker with a leather and mesh upper and lace toggle. Instead of pink, though, yellow is now applied to the Corteiz marks on the tongue and lateral toe tip (moved over from the medial) and heel, as well as the medial heel Swoosh and the visible Air units underfoot. Another yellow Corteiz mark can then be found in the translucent cutout on the outsole. Unlike the “Pink Beam,” though, “Tour Yellow” doesn’t feature a camouflage liner and instead opts for more black.
Corteiz emphasized in-person, regional experiences for its Air Max 95s, as the “Pink Beam” colorway initially released in New York City with a timed digital billboard in midtown revealing the GPS coordinaets for a pop-up store downtown. London hosted the release for the “Seqoia” edition through a soccer challenge to earn a chance to purchase, and the “Aegon Storm” release in Paris drew the most frenzied crowd of all.
After the sneakers later released online, Corteiz offered an additional 1,000 pairs in a restock after canceling bot orders.
As of now, it’s not clear what the plan is for the release of the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Tour Yellow,” but there’s a good chance it’ll include another in-person activation. Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates as the sneaker’s holiday 2024 release draws closer.
