The collection is broken down into two categories: All Season and Ultralight, both of which are made from a double ripstop fabric that is water-repellent and windproof in either 100 percent polyester or 70 percent polycarbonate.

The All Season collection consists of 10 pieces — totes, backpacks, duffels, hybrid roller bags and snow roller bags in various sizes. They feature a tear-resistant base, slip-resistant pull tabs, removable sternum and waist straps and a rescue whistle and are available in black or a camouflage colorway. The snow roller bags feature all-terrain wheels, come in three sizes to fit equipment of varying dimensions and include a water-resistant tarpaulin linen to lock out moisture.

The Ultralight Range consists of three styles suited to light outdoor use and include a cinch daypack, a backpack and a hip pack in lightweight ripstock fabric coated in polyurethane. The bags include a sternum strap, removable waist strap and built-in hydration system.

In addition to the bags, Herschel is also launching a layered apparel system inspired by vintage outdoor gear. This includes base and mid layers made from a cotton and polyester blend and include fleece jackets and vests, puffer jackets and vests, and a three-layer windproof shell.

Siblings Jamie and Lyndon Cormack founded Herschel Supply in 2010 after Lyndon, who was working at Vans in Canada, and Jamie, who was with K2, were seeking a way to work together. As Lyndon Cormack said at the time of their 10th anniversary: “We were working with great brands, but we were looking for a canvas where we could promote ourselves.” They settled backpacks because they believed the category needed dispuption. Since the launch, Herschel Supply has expanded into a number of other products including luggage, duffels, travel accessories as well as apparel and hats.

Next up, they said, they intend to launch water-based gear sometime in 2025.
