One of Nike’s longest-running collaborations will officially resume soon after Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara teased a new Fragment Design x Nike sneaker on Instagram.

Fujiwara shared Wednesday an image of a shoebox of an unreleased Fragment Design x Nike sneaker. Aside from the Fragment Design and Nike co-branding, the box doesn’t explicitly reveal much about its contents, but the packaging’s 1990s styling could be a hint at what’s on the way.

An Oct. 7 leak showcased a previously unseen Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon collab. Using the sporty 1997 running shoe as its base, the white-based Fragment Design colorway replaces the shoe’s usual open mesh upper with a ballistic nylon. It gets a lifestyle edge from its black suede mudguard and navy blue leather Swoosh logo.

Fragment Design branding is scattered throughout the shoe in various forms: co-branding is printed on the lateral panel alongside the product’s SKU, tonal “FRGMT” embroidery is hidden in the white tongue and the outsole features a transparent layer blending Nike’s ‘90s Zoom Air logo with Fragment’s lightning bolt emblem.

Along with the white colorway which was leaked in October, another unreleased Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon (pictured below) hit the internet in 2023. That pair features similar materials in a blue-based colorway with different branding placements.

And in addition to the Nike Zoom Spiridons, Fragment Design will reportedly renew its three-way collaboration with Travis Scott and Jordan Brand on a new Air Jordan 1 Low. That pair is expected to be released during fall 2025.

It’s not immediately clear if both or only one of the Zoom Spiridon pairs will be released — or if Fujiwara could perhaps be teasing something else altogether — but it’s evident something new is on the way from Fragment Design and Nike in the near future. For now, readers can find a detailed look at the “White/Blue Void/Black” Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon colorway below.
