Stormzy appears in the OnTrac headphones campaign and immersive film, where he’s documented catching flights, playing sports, going out and working in a music studio.
“Whether I’m catching a flight, getting ready for a show, or working on new music, I need to tune everything out and stay focused. The Dyson OnTrac headphones make it easy — they’re with me through every trip, no matter how long or hectic the day gets,” said the South London-born musician.
Jake Dyson, chief engineer at Dyson, said Stormzy shares a “common guiding philosophy: Making the most of everything and consistently delivering something that’s better than what’s been before. It’s what’s driven us to make smaller motors, to expand into different sectors, to solve more problems. It’s what’s driven Stormzy to master more genres, go deeper with lyrics and affect social.”
The OnTrac headphones, which are priced at 499.99 pounds, are available in four colorways and feature up to 55 hours of active noise cancellation in just one charge, while a 10-minute charge delivers 2.5 hours of battery life and a 30-minute charge delivers nine hours.
Dyson has been slowly tapping into the sound category.
The brand also has the Dyson Zone noise-canceling headphone, which retail at 579.99 pounds and can be worn with an attachable travel visor that’s an air purifier.
