Sonos officially entered the Bluetooth headphone competition earlier this summer with the arrival of its Sonos Ace headphones. One of our editors’ favorite new releases, the brand’s noise-canceling over-ear headphones normally cost $449, but right now music lovers can snag the new Sonos Ace headphones on sale for $50 off online. The Sonos Ace headphones — which we own and have tested for months — are marked down right now at Target and on Sonos’ own website, as part of the retailers’ Labor Day promotions.

Get Sonos’ first-ever noise-canceling headphones for a $50 discount for Labor Day online at Target. The Ace headphones come in both black and white, and feature adjustable ear cups and their own carrying case.
Of course, that means you don’t have much time left to get Sonos‘ brand-new noise-canceling cans at this price point before the holiday weekend’s over.
The Sonos headphones support spatial audio, making you feel a little more immersed in your tunes when you’re listening to a playlist on the go. The Aces also boast active noise cancelation, which helps block out unwanted noise around you, but still makes it easy to hear sounds like, say, oncoming traffic or someone trying to chat with you. During our tests, the Sonos headphones produced beefy bass and detailed sound, no matter which track we cued up in our playlists.

The Sonos Ace headphones also happen to be comfortable to wear for a few hours during the work day. Thanks to their adjustable design and carrying case, they’re also ideal for the frequent traveler (even if that’s just commuting to and from the office).
On top of the noise-canceling audio and clear sound quality, the Sonos Aces impressed us by their excellent battery life. Sonos officially says that you can get up to 30 hours of battery life with the Ace headphones, a generous amount of runtime for noise-canceling over-ear cans. Apple’s AirPod Max headphones, for instance, can run for around 20 hours, while the excellent Bose QuietComfort headphones pack about a 24-hour battery life.
