Upcoming Luther Vandross documentary gets an official trailer
- On Thursday (Sept. 12), Giant Pictures and CNN Films unveiled an official trailer for Luther: Never Too Much, a documentary about the life and career of Luther Vandross. Viewers at home can catch it when it lands on CNN, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, and Max in 2025. "Using a wealth of rarely seen archives, Luther tells his own story with assistance from his closest friends and musical collaborators including Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Valerie Simpson and Roberta Flack," the trailer's description read.

Different versions of 'home' roost at the American Folk Art Museum
The exhibition’s title piece, “‘Birds Gotta Have Somewhere to Roost” by Thornton Dial Sr., is a collage of weathered wood, burlap, carpet and tin. Dial's work, including many such assemblages of found materials, are in museum collections around the U.S. Birds are depicted in a pen-and ink drawing made in the 1800s by V.H. Furnier, an artist and penmanship teacher in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
