R.I.P. Joan Rivers. At Yahoo Travel, Joan was more than just an amazingly funny comedienne. To us, she was a contributor and a friend. You may not know this, but Joan was the ultimate traveler – she was a member of the Millions of Miles Club, as in she traveled millions of miles in her lifetime. She had homes — and jobs — on each coast and she toured constantly. The lady was a pro.

Joan had just taken on an assignment for Yahoo Travel to write about a trip she took to Venice, Italy, with her grandson Cooper. Sadly, she never had the chance to write it. We’re thankful for Joan and for the stories she shared with us. So raise a glass and have one more laugh with Joan.
