We’ll be seeing full trailers next week at the network’s upfront, but for now here are some first-look teasers of the new shows that give us an idea of what we can expect. Below are clips of Kiefer Sutherland-starrer Designated Survivor, Shonda Rhimes’ Romeo & Juliet sequel Still Star-Crossed, comedies Downward Dog and Imaginary Mary, and more. Have a look.
Designated Survivor
Kiefer Sutherland stars as President of the United States. The conspiracy thriller, executive produced by Simon Kinberg for the Mark Gordon Company, sparked a major bidding war before landing at ABC.
Still Star-Crossed
Shondaland’s period drama that picks up where the famous Romeo & Juliet story ends.
Downward Dog
You can’t beat a story about a talking dog. This the first broadcast series for Legendary TV, which is co-producing with ABC Studios.
Time After Time
Kevin Williamson’s time travel drama is based on Karl Alexander’s book and the movie, from Warner Bros. TV.
Notorious
The drama series is inspired by the true-life stories of famed criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and cable news producer Wendy Walker, who serve as executive producers,
Imaginary Mary
The comedy starring Jenna Elfman hails from The Goldbergs team of Adam F. Goldberg, David Guarascio and Happy Madison. It’s received high marks for its seamless blending of live-action and CGI animation.
Conviction
This is the second series pickup this season for Mark Gordon (along with Designated Survivor). The legal drama stars Hayley Atwell, who’s coming off just-canceled Agent Carter.
