Adam Sandler Breaks Up Soccer Dad Competition Between Kevin James and James Corden
On The Late Late Show With James Corden, Kevin James of The King of Queens and Mall Cop fame joined James Corden, where they played overzealous dads at their sons’ soccer game. Everything began innocently enough as the dads cheered on their sons. But things quickly escalated from snide insults about the other’s kid’s size to outdoing each other with signs, followed by cheerleading outfits and cheers, entire (fake) cheerleading squads, Joe Esposito’s song “Simply the Best,” DJ beats, and marching bands.
After the chaos ensued, Adam Sandler, the surprise referee, came over to break these two insane fathers up. He let them know that the game had been over hours. They quickly took off to find their sons and Sandler went on to sing “Simply the Best” with the leftover karaoke machine.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
