Anne Hathaway and James Corden Sing, Fall in Love, and Break Up in 5 Minutes
Anne Hathaway has starred in more than a few romantic comedies, and she and James Corden sure do love to croon. Thus the idea for an epic five minutes of television was born on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
The duo teamed up to perform the perfect rom-com soundtrack live in just a few minutes. The segment featured 10 songs, nine set changes, and zero breaks, and it chronicled rom-com tropes like the meet-cute, the honeymoon phase, the inevitable fight and breakup, and the happy ending. They sang such classics as “Holding Out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler, Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me,” Biz Markie’s “Just a Friend,” and “Let’s Stay Together,” by Al Green.
