Channing Tatum Gives Bride-to-Be and Friends Shrieking Good Surprise on ‘Ellen’
A bride-to-be from Alabama got quite the surprise when she and her friends attended a taping of Ellen. Unbeknownst to the young woman, her fiancé wrote a letter to Ellen DeGeneres explaining that she’s a huge fan, and asking DeGeneres if she could just say hi to his soon-to-be wife. DeGeneres did much, much more for the woman and her friends than just saying hi.
DeGeneres brought the young woman and her friends onstage and asked about the wedding. More importantly, she asked about the bachelorette party. The woman explained that she was hoping to go to Las Vegas and, while there, attend Magic Mike Live, which opens April 21. Just a few moments later, Magic Mike star Channing Tatum appeared on the big screen with the Magic Mike Live dancers behind him. This elicited several seconds of screams and shrieks from the women.
It may seem coincidental that DeGeneres had Channing Tatum on to plug Magic Mike Live right before it opens, and that there just so happened to be a member of the audience who was planning a bachelorette party to Vegas hoping to see Magic Mike Live, but none of that really mattered when the young woman and her friends got yet another surprise from Tatum.
“We’re gonna see you next week. You’re coming here for a little VIP Magic Mike experience,” Tatum said, to the sound of even more shrieks of excitement.
The ladies then were handed their tickets to the show.
