Chickens Chicken Out During Embarrassing Performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’
Piano-playing Jokgu the Chicken returned to America’s Got Talent in hopes of moving on to the live rounds. The chicken had previously wowed the judges with her inspired performance of “America the Beautiful” on the piano.
To step up her performance for the second round, Jokgu was joined by her sister AiChan — who allegedly is quite the pianist as well. The song they chose to play was Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.”
Unfortunately, when it came time to perform, the chickens laid an egg, figuratively. The performance quickly went a-fowl after the chickens failed to play after their lead-in. Despite their handlers’ best efforts, the chickens refused to tickle the ivory, as it were.
After a few awkward moments, the judges started hitting their buzzers, and ultimately all the buzzers were pushed. Judge Heidi Klum told the chickens, “This is breaking my heart — you have no idea.”
But guest judge DJ Khaled was not familiar with act, nor had he seen the first performance, so he didn’t know what he was missing. In fact, he didn’t know anything about it, as the music producer simply told the act, “I’m confused … God bless.”
While this is the end road for these chickens on AGT, who knows — maybe we’ll see them again on Eggs Factor.
