DeAndre Jordan Dabs His Way to Slimy Victory on ‘Kids’ Choice Sports’ 2017
Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 gave viewers lots of what they love: slime. The awards show is known for bringing some of the world’s most popular athletes onstage and coming up with creative ways to douse them in green slime. That’s exactly what happened when Los Angeles Clipper DeAndre Jordan took on Detroit Piston Andre Drummond.
The two centers were tasked with racing over Slime Mountain — a giant slide of, you guessed it, slime. In order to to conquer it ,the athletes had to run up a flight of exponentially larger stairs, smash a bunch of food, grab a helmet, and slide down the slime to hit the winning buzzer.
Initially the two were about even, but when it came time to smash some food, Jordan jumped ahead of Drummond. In fact, by the time Jordan had made it to the bottom of the slime slide, he was so ahead of Drummond that he took a moment to dab before hitting the race-winning buzzer.
Considering Jordan played for former Clippers owner Donald Sterling, it’s no surprise he was so good at dealing with slime.
