‘Disney Night’ on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Inspires Fairy-Tale Performances
It was “Disney Night” on Dancing With the Stars, and everyone involved was incredibly animated! There were guest appearances by musicians, fantastic costumes, and, most important, great dancing.
Now that we are five weeks into the season, the remaining contestants all have some impressive moves. Particularly Normani Kordei, who put on a fantastic show performance to Mulan. She also got a little extra boost from Donny Osmond, who sang “I’ll Make a Man Outta You.”
Normani and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, scored a near perfect score, earning tens from all the judges except Len Goodman, who gave them a nine. Right on their heels were Simone Biles and Sasha Farber, who scored just one point less.
Gravity didn’t seem to affect Biles, who spent a lot of time with her feet in the air pulling off moves that only an Olympic gymnast is capable of. She danced to the Moana song “How Far Will I Go,” sung by Moana herself, Alia Crivello.
And while the night was a fairy tale, someone had to turn into a pumpkin in the end. So as the clock struck midnight — or 10 p.m. — Erika Jayne and Gleb were voted off.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Watch Dancing With the Stars on Yahoo View, available now on iOS and Android.
