First pitch catches photographer off guard, and in the family jewels
Prior to Wednesday night’s Red Sox-Cardinals game, 17-year-old Jordan Leandre threw out the first pitch and was just a bit outside. Actually, the pitch was way outside and caught photographer Tony Capobianco off guard… and in the family jewels. To top that off, the organ played a triumphant tune right after it happened.
Both Leandre and Capobianco had fun with the incident. Leandre tweeted that it was embarrassing because he actually pitches for his high school baseball team. And Capobianco wasn’t embarrassed at all, tweeting that he will never stop laughing at the video. The two even met after the game and got pictures together.
And since nut shots are always funny, we went ahead and added other clips of these “unfortunate” accidents from baseball, tennis, and soccer.
