John Oliver Is Kind of Concerned About Getting Deported

On Tuesday’s The Late Show, John Oliver visited his friend Stephen Colbert and expressed his concern about Donald Trump’s immigration ban. The host of Last Week Tonight has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, and though he’s a green card holder with a family, he shared that he’s concerned about his future.

Colbert joked that his friend might be “tossed out like a tea bag.”

Oliver joked about a possible deportation: “It’s probably not going to happen. Right? But there is a nonzero chance of it happening now. So, yeah, I am slightly concerned. I have an American wife and an American son now, but who knows what’s enough? Having a green card used to be enough.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
