Kim Kardashian on Caitlyn Jenner: ‘I Don’t Respect the Character That She’s Showing Now’
Caitlyn Jenner has been making the rounds recently promoting her new book, The Secrets of My Life. The Kardashian clan is unhappy with how they’re portrayed in it, something that was all too obvious in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. On Thursday, Kim Kardashian appeared on Ellen to explain her feelings on the book and on Jenner.
“I’ll always love her. That was my step dad for so many years. She taught me about character. And so much, growing up. And I just feel like I don’t respect the character that she’s showing now,” Kardashian said.
Kardashian has good reason to question Jenner’s character. According to Kim and others in the Kardashian clan, the book Jenner is now promoting contains things that are just not true.
“She’s promoting this book and she’s saying all these things. And I just don’t think it’s necessary. I just feel like it’s unfair. Things aren’t truthful,” Kardashian said.
When asked if Jenner is being honest, Kardashian replied, “No. Not with certain things about my mom and other things.”
Kardashian added that the book isn’t tasteful.
