‘Lip Sync Battle’: Rumer Willis Sizzles as Cher, Bryshere Gray Shines as Taylor Swift

It was an Empire duel on Lip Sync Battle as actors Rumer Willis and Bryshere Gray duked it out onstage. Considering the two act in a show about music, the expectations for their performances were pretty high.

Bryshere Excellence

Gray kicked off his warm-up performance with Will Smith’s “Summertime.” Gray is from West Philadelphia (born and raised; on the playground is where he spent most of his days), so he was able to really embrace the song.

For Gray’s main performance, he donned a blond wig and transformed into Taylor Swift (#squadgoals) to perform her hit song “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” He totally nailed his performance, which even included a wardrobe change!

Rumer Has It

Willis warmed up with “Hit ‘Em Up Style” by Blu Cantrell. For her main performance, she put on a sexy leather one-piece, a leather jacket, and a huge curly wig in order to become Cher. She put on a stellar performance of “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

The Emperor’s New Belt

It was a super-close decision, but Gray took home the Lip Sync Battle belt. Despite Willis’s loss, we can only hope that she still believes in life after love.

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
