‘Married at First Sight’ Returns to Make America Cringe Again
Before the fifth season of Married at First Sight premiered Thursday night, a special episode aired dedicated to matchmaking. This gave viewers a little insight into why the matchmakers pick and pair certain people, and there are a lot of people to choose from, considering they received more than 40,000 applications.
One of the applicants, Sheila, hoped to find husband and a little more. “I’ve never had an orgasm,” Sheila admitted. “My friends think that’s outlandish, but ’cause I don’t know any better, like, it’s fine.”
She was paired up with Nate, who learned how to please a woman from a pillow. Nate recalled, “My little cousin, he said, ‘Here, I’ll show you something.’ He cuts a hole in the pillow, you know, and he told me this is how you got to do it. Even now today, I still envision myself going at that pillow.”
Their marriage is going to be supersuccessful.
Married at First Sight airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
