Matt Lauer Loses Control of ‘Today’ Interview With Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin
Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin stopped by Today to promote their movie, Going in Style, even though, well, they didn’t really get around to promoting their movie.
The legends quickly took control of the interview from a bemused Matt Lauer, who could barely get a word in edgewise. The trio bickered, swapped stories, and jested with one another, talking about how they met and who has the most Oscars.
The entire interview is a master class in comedy genius, and it’s clear that the actors work extremely well together, even if every now and then they may threaten one another with some light physical violence.
