‘Nashville’ Season 5: Meet the New Faces
Welcome to a new Nashville, y'all!
For its fifth season, the country music drama is moving to a new network, CMT, in January. And along with getting a new home, Nashville will be welcoming some new faces.
Stars Connie Britton (Rayna James), Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes), Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), Clare Bowen (Scarlett O'Connor), Sam Palladio (Gunnar Scott), Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley), Chris Carmack (Will Lexington), and Lennon and Maisy Stella (Maddie and Daphne Conrad) are all returning to the series. The only two regulars who didn't make the jump to CMT are Will Chase (Luke Wheeler) and Aubrey Peeples (Layla Grant).

But Nashville is a place of hopes and dreams, ambitions and agendas, which means that some new characters will blow into town to stir up trouble, make friends, start romances, and, of course, make music. Click through this slideshow to see who's new in Season 5.
The two-hour Season 5 premiere of Nashville will preview on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 9 p.m. on CMT, and the season will officially kick off on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 9 p.m. on CMT.
