Olivia Wilde Broke Her Tailbone Onstage Rehearsing For Broadway Debut
Olivia Wilde has felt the pain of going through her Broadway debut. The actress visited Live with Kelly and Ryan and told host Kelly Ripa and guest host Van Jones that she broke her tailbone in rehearsals for the New York stage adaptation of George Orwell’s 1984. Wilde said that in the production she rushes from a scene onstage to a camera behind the stage.
The production seems to be fraught with injuries. She broke the nose of her co-star, Tom Sturridge. He, in turn, dislocated one of her ribs.
Things seem to be pretty stressful for the playgoers too. Wilde said that audience members have gotten sick, fainted, and even screamed at the cast.
