These titans of television thrilled and delighted audiences for years, but what would’ve happened had they been called by some other name, as all of them nearly were? Would they have been quite as sweet?

Fox’s new drama, Second Chance, which debuts this Wednesday, is already on its third title (it was  Frankenstein Code, then Lookinglass). Through the decades, networks have tinkered with TV show titles, before and after they began airing. It seems weird to think of The Big Bang Theory as anything else, but it’s true — the hit CBS comedy gestated under a completely different identity.

Here are 14 shows that changed their titles, sometime after original conception. Some had working titles that were discarded (and good riddance in most cases), while others tweaked their names due to storyline or premise changes. Can you guess what their original titles were? Take our quiz!
