Saturday Night Live opened this weekend’s show in the Oval Office, where Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump realized the time had come to dismiss one of his two key advisers.

Forced to choose between Grim Reaper Steve Bannon and Jimmy Fallon’s mute Jared Kushner on “Elimination Night,” Trump weighed the pros and cons.
“Jared, you take the most beautiful photos,” Trump said to his son-in-law, before turning his attention to Bannon. “Steve, you take the worst photos I’ve ever seen in my life. When I see a photo of you, it makes me want to puke.”

Trump ultimately picked Kushner and banished Bannon to “the basement,” where he has allegedly been hiding the MIA Kellyanne Conway. He then forfeited his desk to Kushner, before making himself comfortable at his much smaller desk off to the side.
“Jared, you’re such an inspiration,” Trump said. “You showed everybody that if you’re born rich and marry my daughter, you can do anything you want.”
